Day 40: Finding Home in Jesus
Read John 15:4 (The Message)
Eugene Peterson’s paraphrase of John 15:4 in The Message says, “Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me.â€
To abide in Jesus is to make our home in Him. It means living in His presence, drawing our identity and purpose from Him. It’s about finding our true home in Jesus and letting His love shape every aspect of our lives.
REFLECT
What does it mean to make your home in Jesus? How can you let His love shape your daily life?
PRAY
Jesus, help me to make my home in You. Teach me to live in Your presence and let Your love shape every part of my life. Amen.
