The Disciple's Path DEVO - Day 21

Day 21: Grace-Filled Giving

Read
Acts 4:32-35

The early church lived out an extraordinary example of generosity. They didn’t just give—they shared everything, acting as one family in Christ. Luke tells us, “God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them.” Their giving wasn’t born out of obligation but overflowed from hearts transformed by grace.

This kind of giving grows when we remember that all we have comes from God. The believers weren’t just sharing their material possessions; they were sharing their lives, trusting God to supply their needs. Their generosity reflected a deep unity and reliance on God’s grace to sustain them.

Reflect on how God’s grace has been at work in your life. Are there areas where you can trust Him more deeply with your resources, knowing He is the ultimate provider?

REFLECT
How does remembering God’s grace inspire you to give generously? What steps can you take to cultivate a more open-handed approach to what you have?

PRAY

Lord, let Your grace work powerfully in me. Teach me to trust You as I give generously and joyfully, knowing that all I have comes from You. Amen.
