DAY 23 - Shepherds Guide

Psalm 23:3

“The LORD is my shepherd…”

What else does a shepherd do? A shepherd GUIDES his flock. V.3, “He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.” The psalmist knows that God has a purpose for his life. He believes God won’t steer him wrong.

God has a purpose for your life, too. Ephesians 1:4 says, “God chose us in Christ before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love, God predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ.” 

Whether you’re a plumber or a president, God’d determined to get you into his family and make you more like Jesus! God will always guide you that direction, the right direction. When you’re facing an important decision and pray for wisdom, God will give it. The Good Shepherd will guide you!
