As Jesus is passing through Jericho, he sees a tax collector that has climbed a tree because he wants to see Jesus. Remember he was a wee little man, that took extreme measures to get a glimpse at Jesus.

But here is an interesting twist - Jesus spots Zacchaeus and comes right up to him in the crowd.

Why Zacchaeus?

In this surprising twist Jesus calls him down from the tree and invites himself to Zacchaeus’ house.

Imagine Zacchaeus’ expression when he sees looking directly at him and now will be having Jesus come to his house that very night.

What did he come for?

“For the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost?

What do we see when we journey life’s highway?

Can we see all with the eyes and compassion of Jesus?
