"How Can I Be a Better Christian?"

Scripture: John 15:1-17

In the second week of our series of, "Sermons You Always Wanted to Hear," I was asked, "How Can I Be a Better Christian?"

The scripture for this is: John 15:1-17, when Jesus speaks of the vine and the branches. Most of us have asked that question of ourselves from time to time. I am glad someone was not afraid to ask this question, as it shows great humility and a searching for a deeper relationship with God. Don't we all want that! Please read ahead of time John 15:1-17.

Ponder the question with how to be a better Christian as you meditate on in in your devotional time this week. As you pray, think about your relationship with God.

What is the longing of your heart?

Is it for a deeper more meaningful connection with God?

What does it mean to abide?

Let us learn together as we prepare our hearts to hear God's answer. He loves His children.

Lord, I want to Be a Christian, in my heart, in my heart. Lord, I want to be a Christian in my heart!
