Day 34: The Value of Humility
Read: Philippians 2:3-4
Paul writes, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.â€
Humility isn’t just a virtue but a way of life in God’s kingdom. By valuing others above ourselves, we follow Jesus’ example and live out His teachings. Humility today will be rewarded in God’s eternal kingdom.
REFLECT
How can you practice humility in your daily interactions? What steps can you take to value others above yourself?
PRAY
Lord, teach me to live a life of humility. Help me to value others above myself and to look to their interests. Amen.
