On the Road Again - DAY 26

Day 26: Minding Your Own Business

Read Luke 13:1-3

In Luke 13, some people tell Jesus about a tragedy involving Galileans killed by Pilate. Instead of directly addressing the incident, Jesus uses it to make a broader point: “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? No! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”

Jesus redirects their focus from others’ misfortunes to their own spiritual condition. We often get caught up in other people’s problems, but Jesus challenges us to examine our own hearts and actions.

Are you more focused on other people’s faults or your own spiritual growth? How can you shift your focus to mind your own business?

Lord, help me to focus on my own heart and actions. Teach me to mind my own business and grow in my relationship with You. Amen.
