Ask, Seek & Knock
ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK

Jesus' disciples ask him to teach them to pray.
As Jesus often does, he answers with an interesting parable. Through the parable of a friend that comes in the middle of the night. God wants us to come with confidence, persistence, trusting God for the answers, as we Ask, Seek, and Knock.
Through the teaching of the Lord's prayer, we hear God's heart for his children to come to him in an intimate relationship. As we pray we will receive, find and God will open the doors to his transforming love and forgiveness.
Luke's gospel on the Lord's Prayer emphasizes, a parent child relationship. When we think of our own children, we want good for them and give them good gifts. How much more God wants us to come to him like little children with expectation of God's answers and gifts. God's gifts of love, compassion, forgiveness, the Holy Spirit are available to us.
What do you need to be persistent in bringing before your Abba, Father?
Do we come with confidence, expectation and persistence?
