“So if the Son sets you free; you are free indeed!”

John 8:36 "So if the Son sets you free; you are free indeed!"

In our July 5th worship, we celebrated our 250th year, Independence Day! We give thanks for being able to gather freely, worship freely, in a land that truly is a blessing! But, for us as Christians, we are forever grateful for the greatest gift and blessing of the One, who has given us freedom through the cross. God's sacrifice, of God's one and only Son, Jesus Christ, changed everything. When we receive this gift of love, we are given freedom from sin and death, looking forward to the Kingdom of God, with hope, peace and future all through God’s gracious gift, as beloved children of God. We are free indeed! Thanks be to God.
